Vessel Traffic Management System
Learn about the variety of AXYS weather stations and buoy systems available and currently being used in busy ports and harbours to monitor environmental conditions and provide critical data to help with vessel traffic management and maritime safety.
WatchKeeper Buoy
Learn how the largest estuary in the United States, the Chesapeake Bay, has a 10-buoy network deployed that is used to monitor the environment and obtain detailed information on current marine conditions, including winds, waves, currents and water quality. The data is sent to shore and accessed online by a variety of users, such as mariners, students and researchers.
Our guest speaker is Doug Wilson, retired NOAA Oceanographer and now President/Oceanographer with Caribbean Wind LLC.
Service
In this webinar we will discuss how you can optimize the operation of your buoy with proper training, commissioning, deployment, and regular maintenance. The AXYS Services Team has over 35 years of experience working with buoys and can help you with all of these aspects of buoy operation. The webinar will also cover leasing opportunities, telemetry options, and how the services team can quickly troubleshoot and resolve any problems that arise to keep downtime to a minimum.

Water Level Measurement
In this webinar we provide a detailed overview of the technology behind HydroLevel - the world's only water level measurement buoy. We discuss why it is useful, how it can be used and precisely how it works.
Offshore Renewable Energy Assessment & Monitoring
Watch this webinar recording to learn about recent developments for the WindSentinel as a result of the introduction of the new Vindicator III system and other advances in sensor technology. We will discuss how they add to the capacity of the WindSentinel to support both effective offshore wind development and scientific research in the sector. This webinar features presentations from two sensor providers:
- Microwave Radiometers from Boulder Environmental Sciences & Technology.
- Acoustic/Thermographic Offshore Monitoring from Normandeau Associates.
This AXYS WindSentinel System has now recorded over a year of cumulative commercial deployments. This webinar will review the lessons learned from these deployments, including:
- Essential areas to consider when planning an offshore wind resource assessment campaign using a floating LIDAR System.
- Operational considerations to ensure cost-effective deployments.
- Validity studies, both underway and in the planning process

This webinar provides a detailed overview of the assessment and monitoring systems used by renewable energy developers to lower costs and improve decision making. These systems provide comprehensive environmental data for wind, wave, and tidal assessment and monitoring throughout the project life cycle.
In this webinar we cover how the system uses the Vindicator Laser Wind Sensor to provide accurate data in a floating environment, how the WindSentinel can be used for project financing purposes by following recognized deployment protocols, and WindSentinel servicing requirements and likely ongoing maintenance costs. We also spend several minutes answering attendee questions.

A key part of any data gathering campaign is the range of information available and the ease of access to that information. In this webinar we provide a detailed overview of the variety of sensors that can be integrated onto remote monitoring equipment and the telemetry used to communicate the data back to developers when and how they need it. We also discuss how the data is received and how it can be managed, stored and displayed.
A key factor in effective long-term remote monitoring is the ongoing service of the system. Not only is it important to maintain the system in good order and receive timely data, but the cost of such servicing, if poorly managed, can eat into operating budgets.
With more than 35 years experience of cost-effective system servicing, AXYS provides a webinar with a detailed overview of the service and maintenance requirements for uninterrupted operations in offshore monitoring systems in a renewable energy application.
Ports & Ships
This webinar provides an overview of the different types of weather stations used to monitor the environment near ports and around ships. The available sensors and telemetry options are covered, as well as some examples of existing systems in operation. We also provide an overview of the Port Sentinel and Ship Sentinel
marketplace and the WatchMan500 control system used in both. We also
discuss the installation, maintenance, and telemetry for each Sentinel,
as well as the Data Management System and data viewing.
Software
AXYS software plug-ins give you the capability to customize your software package to easily receive, export, display and manage the environmental data from your buoy system or network. The AXYS Data Management System (DMS) is now available with a variety of additional plug-in options capable of providing enhanced features specific to your data requirements. Learn more about the options and how they can improve your data management operation in this month's webinar.
Did you know that AXYS now provides data hosting? In this webinar we discuss how AXYS data hosting, management and reporting provides cost effective solutions to collect, track, analyze and understand your environmental data.
In this webinar we provide a detailed overview of the AXYS Data Management System (DMS) and display programs: SmartWeb and SmartView and show you how to manage the data from your environmental monitoring system. We finish with an update on the met ocean buoy industry and some Q&A.
This Webinar provides an overview of the software offered by AXYS for use with TRIAXYS and review the move from WaveView to DMS (with the TRIAXYS Plug-In) and how this will affect existing clients.
Met Ocean Buoys
This webinar provides an introduction to met ocean buoys, including an overview of platform options, available sensor suites and telemetry, and mooring configurations.
This webinar provides an overview of met ocean buoys and goes into detail on their WatchMan500 control system, expansion modules, device handlers & mapping, configuration, system timing, messaging & datalogging and software.
This webinar provides a detailed overview of the different types of moorings and anchoring systems used for met ocean buoys, as well as a thorough description of a typical deployment and recommended general maintenance.
